“People are criticizing Chief Priest, they should wait till I see Davido — I will bow down” – Artiste declares

An upcoming Nigerian artist, Ezesinachi Bernard Anyanwu Aka EZEBTC, has sparked reactions with his recent comments on the controversy surrounding celebrity barman Cubana Chief Priest’s visit to Vice President Kashim Shettima a few days ago.

Recall that celebrity barman Cubana Chief Priest was recently spotted kneeling to greet Nigeria’s Vice President, Kashim Shettima. The gesture stirred debate online, with many Nigerians questioning why he went to such lengths to show respect.

Some labeled the act as sycophantic, especially since other members of Davido’s entourage who accompanied him did not kneel while greeting the Vice President.

Weighing in on the incident, upcoming Nigerian artist Ezesinachi Bernard Anyanwu defended Cubana Chief Priest, questioning why people were being hypocritical. He said that if he were in the barman’s position, he wouldn’t just kneel — he would prostrate to greet the Vice President.

Speaking further, Bernard shifted focus to his admiration for Nigerian music star Davido.

In a now trending video, he expressed his desire to meet the artist, stating, “People are criticizing Cubana Chief Priest, but they should wait till I see Davido — I will bow down, I will lay my head on the floor once I see Davido.”
