Ashley Young Returns To Aston Villa
Ashley Young will return to Aston Villa on a one-year agreement, according to the club.
The 35-year-old defender has appeared in 369 Premier League games for Watford, Villa, and Manchester United, where he won the League title in 2012/13.
He returns to Villa Park after winning the Serie A title with Inter Milan in Italy.

“It feels amazing to be back, it feels like I’ve not left,” he told the club’s official website. “I’ve still got that winning mentality, that winners’ attitude, that desire and hunger to go and win.
“When I see the squad here, the staff and the players, to have the opportunity to join this club again is fantastic for me and I just want to get down to work and bring my qualities, my experience to a young squad.”

Young is Villa’s second signing of the summer, with Emiliano Buendia already joining the club from Norwich City.
He could make his comeback when Villa open their 2021/22 campaign at Watford.
