Personal Assistant To Owner, Osibona Of Collapsed Ikoyi Building Found Dead, Owner Still Trapped— Source
Nifemi, Femi Osibona’s personal assistant and the owner of the 21-story building that fell in Lagos’ Ikoyi neighborhood, has been confirmed deceased.
Her body was discovered on Tuesday, according to a source who confirmed the news to SaharaReporters on Tuesday.
According to the source, Osibona, the Managing Director of Fourscore Heights Limited, was trapped inside the building with Nifemi and his friend Wale Bob-Oseni.
“The dead body of the PA (Personal Assistant), Nifemi, to the owner of the collapsed Lagos building has been recovered. She was simply naked.
“The Police Orderly of the owner, Osibona says he is trapped in the rubble with his friend, Wale Bob-Oseni,” the source said.
The building’s developer is reported to be Bob-Oseni, a property and real estate broker.

Since the building on Gerrard Road fell, no fewer than 15 individuals have been confirmed dead.
At the location of the disaster, rescue attempts are still ongoing, with families and friends of those trapped in the building blaming government officials and rescue workers of ineffectiveness.
Gbolahan Oki, the general manager of the Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA), had been suspended by the state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, over the event.
The Lagos commissioner for information and strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, made the announcement in a statement.
“The Lagos State Government is setting up an independent panel to probe the collapse of the 21-storey building on Gerrard Road, Ikoyi. Members of the panel will be drawn from the Nigeria Institute of Architects (NIA), Nigerian Institute of Town Planners (NITP), Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE) and other professional bodies,” it read.
“It will independently investigate the remote and immediate causes of the incident and make recommendations on how to prevent future occurrence. The investigation is not part of the internal probe already being conducted by the government.
“Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has said the government will surely find out what went wrong and punish those indicted. The Governor, as a first step, has directed that the General Manager of the Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA), Mr. Gbolahan Oki, an architect, be suspended from work immediately. The suspension is indefinite.”
