Rev. Bunmi Jenyo, the immediate regional secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), South West, has explained that the PDP would defeat the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the October 10, 2020 Ondo State gubernatorial election due to the hardship the APC candidate, Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu-led administration had imposed on the indigenes and residents of the state.
The PDP chieftain said all the legacies which the party left had been destroyed by the APC-led government, maintaining that the roads in the state are in deplorable condition and that all the good programmes, which the people hitherto enjoyed, had been destroyed.
Jenyo said the ruling government in Ondo State had failed the people, which according him would account for the abysmal performance of Akeredolu in the forthcoming governorship polls.
