Ogun Contractor Kills Girlfriend, Writes Wife, Commits Suicide
In the Bariga region of Lagos State, a contractor, Hakeem Oladimeji, allegedly committed himself after killing his yet-to-be-identified lover.
Oladimeji, who lived in Ogun State, was reportedly at a leased property near Bariga with his girlfriend when they got into a disagreement.
The argument allegedly escalated into a brawl, during which Oladimeji lunged for a stick and struck her in the head.
The lady slumped and died on the spot, it was discovered.
To avoid being apprehended, Oladimeji is said to have carried her lifeless body into his Toyota Sienna and driven to his home in Ogun State.
He later drove to a place near the NASFAT Islamic Centre on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, according to our sources.

Traders, customers, and passers-by in the vicinity were alleged to have discovered Oladimeji and his girlfriend’s decomposing remains inside the truck.
A mechanic, Sunday Aghali, claimed the stench from the vehicle caused locals to uncover the bodies during a visit to the region on Wednesday, adding that the vehicle had been removed to the Ibafo Police Station.
“Although I was not present when the incident occurred, when I arrived, individuals in the vicinity informed me that two naked decomposing bodies had been discovered in a Sienna vehicle parked directly across from my shop,” Agha claimed. It was as if they passed out in the van while having sex,” I was told.
On the condition of anonymity, one of the security guards at the NASFAT Islamic Centre bemoaned the circumstances surrounding the lovers’ deaths.
While some claim Oladimeji and his girlfriend died in the vehicle while sexually pleasuring one other, others claim a police probe would uncover the truth about the victims’ deaths.
As efforts were made to transport the dead to a mortuary, the remains were wrapped in a black nylon bag.
However, Abimbola Oyeyemi, the state Police Public Relations Officer, who confirmed the occurrence, disclosed that Oladimeji was responsible for his girlfriend’s death.
In a suicide note to his wife, he admitted to the crime, he said.
The PPRO said, “The man’s name is Hakeem Oladimeji; he and his girlfriend were the ones found dead in a Sienna vehicle parked at the entrance of the NASFAT campground. Oladimeji lived in Ogun State but rented an apartment for his girlfriend in Lagos State.
“A fight broke out between them without anyone knowing the cause of the fight and he hit her head with a stick and she slumped. Immediately, he deposited her corpse in his car, drove straight to his house, but those who saw him carrying the corpse into his car reported the case at the Ilaje Police Station at Bariga.
“When he got home, he dropped a suicide note for his wife, which stated that he had killed someone and he’s going to commit suicide and she shouldn’t bother looking for him.
“He drove his dead girlfriend straight to the Ibafo area of Ogun State, parked his car close to the entrance of the NASFAT Islamic Centre, brought out an insecticide, wound up the glasses, drank it, and died.”
