Michael Abimboye Hails Senator Oyewumi, Hon. Ogundare Over Accord Ticket Victories
Senior Editor and political communication strategist, Michael Babatunde Abimboye, has congratulated Senator Olalere Kamorudeen Oyewumi and Hon. Folorunsho Ogundare following their emergence as consensus candidates of the Accord Party for Osun West Senatorial District and Ayedaade State Constituency, respectively, ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Abimboye, who is popularly known as Omo-Ajonbadi, in a statement issued on Tuesday, described Senator Oyewumi, popularly known as “Akogun,” as a formidable grassroots politician whose growing political influence and legislative footprint have continued to resonate across Osun West Senatorial District.
According to him, the senator’s performance at the National Assembly within a relatively short period has strengthened public confidence in his leadership capacity and deepened his acceptance among constituents.
He noted that Senator Oyewumi’s “commitment to people-oriented representation, accessibility to the grassroots, and dedication to developmental politics” positioned him as a strong contender ahead of the next election cycle.
Abimboye further expressed optimism that the senator’s political experience, electoral strength, and record of service would ultimately translate into victory at the polls.
The media executive also extended warm congratulations to Hon. Ogundare, popularly known as “Foley,” following his successful emergence as the Accord Party’s candidate for the Ayedaade State Constituency seat in the Osun State House of Assembly.
