Gas Exploded In Kano, Not Bomb – Police

Gas explosion, according to the Kano State Police Command, occurred near Aba along Court road in Sabon Gari, Fagge Local Government Area of Kano.

The event, which occurred on Tuesday morning, claimed the lives of four residents.

Four individuals have been discovered dead, according to Kano Commissioner of Police, Sama’ila Shu’aibu Dikko, while security forces are searching for the remaining victims of the event.

“It is not bomb explosion; it’s a gas cylinder. There’s a gas welder here and he was the first victim of the situation.”

“As at now, one female and three males have been killed. All the security agencies are here. The Civil Defence, Brigade commander, Air force, myself and the director, DSS, are all on ground.

“We will extend our investigation and at the end of the day we will come out with exactly what happened.”
