BREAKING: Former Oyo Military Administrator Tunji Olurin Is Dead
Brig-Gen. Tunji Olurin (rtd. ), the former Military Administrator of Oyo State and a close political ally of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, has died.
Olurin, who died in the early hours of Saturday at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, was 77 years old, according to a family source.
Funso Olurin, the deceased’s brother, revealed this in Abeokuta on Saturday.
Olurin died after a brief illness, according to him.
Olurin was born in Ilaro, Ogun West Senatorial District, and served as the Military Administrator of Ekiti State from October 8, 2006 to April 27, 2007.
In the 2011 general election in Ogun State, he ran for governor as a candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party.
