BBNaija 2021: Cross Reveals Why He Attempted Suicide Twice
Cross, a housemate on the ongoing tv show Big Brother Naija, often known as BBNaija, has disclosed that he tried suicide twice before joining the show.
During a diary session with Big Brother on Friday, he revealed this.
Cross, who was speaking about a Big Brother task named “Mental health” that will be presented on a later show, asked the Nigerian health sector to treat mental health seriously as a strategy of reducing suicide attempts.
The housemate chastised Nigerian parents for failing to take mental health seriously in their children, promising to do his best when he becomes a father.
He said, “I have attempted to commit suicide twice but at the end of the day, I survived it.
“I think we need physicians in this country to be serious about the issue. Our parents are not really doing enough regarding talking to children to diagnose their mental health.
