APC chieftain and business mogul, Chief Agunwa Collins, slams new opposition coalition ADC; describes members as recycled frustrated politicians

A US-based chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and Enugu business mogul, Chief Agunwa Collins, has strongly criticised the newly formed opposition coalition under the African Democratic Congress, ADC.

He dismissed the party as “a recycled group of frustrated politicians” crafted by “expired power brokers” intent on undermining the steady progress of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.

Chief Agunwa specifically questioned the integrity and moral standing of former Senate President, David Mark and ex-Vice President Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

He described the ADC as incapable of unseating or even unintentionally destabilizing President Tinubu, whom he asserted Nigerians hold in high regard.

The APC stalwart stated that any ideology these political figures might claim is already dead on arrival, emphasizing that Nigerians will not be deceived by their cheap lies and deceit.

In a statement from his Enugu residence, Chief Agunwa condemned the ADC coalition as neither founded on democratic principles nor driven by a cohesive ideological vision. Instead, he characterized it as a product of frustration and bitterness among politicians who have long outlived their relevance in modern governance.

He further stated that the current leadership of ADC largely consists of political nomads, defectors from PDP, Labour Party, and even APC, many of whom he claimed have spent decades mismanaging Nigeria’s economy.

He accused them of seeking to capitalize on anti-Tinubu sentiment to regain power. “What we see is not a movement but a mutiny of rejected and frustrated relics of politics, hoping to exploit Nigerians for personal gain,” he said, urging President Tinubu to decisively suppress such efforts and ensure they face the consequences of their actions.

Contrasting the chaos within the opposition, Chief Agunwa praised President Tinubu’s display of competence, clarity, and consistency in rebuilding Nigeria.

He highlighted Tinubu’s economic and infrastructural reforms, asserting that “no serious Nigerian would prefer a regression into the chaos orchestrated by the recycled ADC coalition.”

The business mogul noted the administration’s achievements, including stabilizing the naira, implementing foreign exchange reforms, and launching major projects like the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway and nationwide railway expansions.

Chief Agunwa urged his supporters and compatriots to stay focused and not be distracted, emphasizing his commitment to contributing his experience towards improving the lives of Enugu people and Nigerians at large.

In closing, Chief Agunwa commended President Tinubu’s unwavering dedication to making Nigeria great again.

He also extended greetings and congratulations to the IGP, Mr. Kayode Egbetokun, and Mr. Mamman Giwa, on his appointment as the new Commissioner of Police for the Enugu State Command.

Chief Agunwa acknowledged his friends in various government agencies across the country and announced his intention to run for a seat in the House of Representatives in 2027 and expressed his readiness to work with President Tinubu to achieve national greatness.
