Abimboye “Omo Ajonbadi” Hails Women of Ayedaade LGA on International Women’s Day
In celebration of this year’s International Women’s Day (IWD), with the theme “Accelerate Action,” a budding political figure Abimboye Babatunde Michael “Omo Ajonbadi”, has commended the resilience, strength, and contributions of the women of Ayedaade Local Government Area.
In a statement issued on Saturday, Abimboye lauded the role of women in community development, governance, and economic growth, emphasizing that their unwavering dedication continues to drive progress at the grassroots level. He described the women of Ayedaade as pillars of the society, whose hard work and sacrifices sustain families, businesses, and governance structures.
“As we mark this year’s International Women’s Day, I celebrate the industrious and courageous women of Ayedaade LGA. Their relentless efforts in various sectors, including agriculture, trade, education, and leadership, are testaments to their invaluable contributions to our local economy and social well-being,” he stated.
Abimboye further urged stakeholders in the public and private sectors to accelerate efforts towards gender equality, calling for policies and initiatives that empower women and create opportunities for their advancement. He reaffirmed his commitment to supporting programs that enhance women’s economic empowerment, education, and political participation within the local government.
“True progress can only be achieved when women are given the platform to excel, lead, and contribute meaningfully to society. We must collectively take action to break barriers and promote inclusivity in all spheres of life,” he added.
