Yoruba Nation: Tinubu, Gbaja, Akande, APC Governors Disagree With Sunday Igboho

Sunday Adeyemo (Sunday Igboho), a leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the South West, has been criticized for his call for the Yoruba country.

Bola Tinubu, Bisi Akande, Segun Osoba, Babajide Sanwo-Olu (Lagos), Dapo Abiodun (Ogun), Gboyega Oyetola (Osun), and Femi Gbajabiamila, Speaker of the House of Representatives, are among the leaders.

The leaders met on Sunday at Government House, Marina, Lagos, to discuss concerns of insecurity in the region and Nigeria as a whole, according to Governor Abiodun.

The APC leaders expressed “strong opposition to separatist agitations and hate rhetoric,” according to a statement released following the meeting.

Sunday Igboho has been a key voice in the Oduduwa Republic agitation, according to NEWS DIRECT, and he led his throngs of fans to a rally in Akure, Ondo State’s capital, on Saturday.

Remember that Igboho has been chastised on numerous times for making inflammatory remarks about supposed enemies of the Yoruba nation.

The APC leaders asked “those engaged in separatist agitations to quit forthwith,” asking them to “renew their belief in the unity, stability, and sustainability of the country,” a veiled reference to Sunday Igboho and his associates.

In a statement on his verified Facebook page, Gov Abiodun said, “Resolutions reached at the crucial meeting expressed reservations on separatist agitations, solicited sustained provision of expenditure to the Nigerian Army, sought true federalism for even development, and endorsed the resolutions of the May 11 Southern Governors Summit held in Asaba.”
