Immediate past Rivers state governor, Nyesom Wike, has been named as the Minister in charge of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
The development was unfolded in a statement from the Office of the President, one week after his screening by the Senate.
The statement released Wednesday evening, also indicates that former spokesperson for the President, Dele Alake, is now the Minister of Solid minerals while Wale Edun will assume office as Finance minister and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, as widely speculated.
Lateef Fagbemi, SAN, takes over as Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice while Prof Ali Pate, is the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare.
Others are former Jigawa state Governor, Mohamed Badaru, who is now the Minister of Defence while his former Kebbi, Osun and Ebonyi counterparts, were named assigned offices as Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Oyetola as Minister of Transportation, Umahi will assume office as Minister of Works.
