WATCH: Zamfara Bandits Release Video Of Abducted College Students, Demand N350million Ransom

Students and employees from the College of Agriculture and Animal Sciences in Zamfara State were kidnapped by gunmen suspected of being bandits, according to a video released by gunmen suspected of being bandits.

The culprits are said to be demanding N350 million in exchange for the victims’ freedom.

Bandits burst into a school in Bakura Local Government Area on Sunday night, abducting 19 pupils and teachers, according to SaharaReporters.

Isma’il Lawali, Salim Salisu, Kabiru Lawali, Yasir Lawali, Awaisu Jabir, Aminu Umar, Abba Aliyu, Aminu Adamu, Usman Umar, and Umar Haruna are among the pupils involved.

Usama Lukman, Abdurahman Lukman, Junaidu Yunusa, Abdullahi Bala, and Jamilu Kwatarkwashi are some of the others.

Mustapha Abdullahi Mafara, Nusaiba Gambo, Hannatu Gambo, and Hibbatu Gambo are among the staff members kidnapped.

The shooters were seen in military uniform in a 30-second video shot relayed through one of the seized pupils.

In the film, the robbers also show off their armory of weaponry, threatening to kill their hostages if the government fails to pay the ransom or tries to obtain their release by force.

In recent years, a series of abductions of pupils have occurred in northern Nigeria, resulting in the closure of numerous schools in the region.
