Unknown Gunmen Kill Three Policemen, Two Others, Burn Three Vehicles In Anambra

Unknown gunmen killed three police officers and two others at the Eke-Agu community in Abatete, Anambra State’s Idemili North Local Government Area.

The attack took place on Tuesday night, according to reports.

Three vehicles were set on fire by the gunmen, who invaded the neighborhood in two SUVs and one Sienna sedan.

The attack is the most recent in what appears to be an increasing trend of attacks on police stations and security personnel in the country’s south-east.

To combat escalating instability, the governors of the region recently announced the formation of an unified security force dubbed “Ebube Agu.”
