Afrobeats star Divine Ikubor, better known as Rema, performed his hit song “Calm Down” at the extravagant wedding of Anant Ambani, son of Asia’s richest man Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant, daughter of pharmaceutical tycoons Viren and Shaila Merchant.
MAVIN, his record label, shared the video on X.com on Friday.
The Hindustan Times reported that Rema charged $3 million for his performance of the global hit “Calm Down” at the event.
The wedding, held on July 12 at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai, also featured performances by global stars like Justin Bieber, who reportedly received $10 million for his appearance, and Rihanna, whose fee was not disclosed.
The four-day wedding extravaganza in Mumbai was the culmination of a series of lavish celebrations the family had been hosting since March.
The wedding attracted numerous celebrities and dignitaries, including Kim Kardashian, former UK Prime Ministers Boris Johnson and Tony Blair, and former US Secretary of State John Kerry, among others.
