Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, the Alaafin of Oyo, is the latest member to the state’s list of historic kings.
He was 83 years old and had ruled for over 52 years, making him the longest reigning Alaafin in history.
At the Afe Babalola University Teaching Hospital in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti state, Oba Lamidi, the third from the Alowodu Ruling House, joined his predecessors.
