Seek Economic Opportunities Beyond Nigeria, RCCG Tells Youths
THE Redeemed Christian Church of God has expressed worry over Nigeria’s high unemployment rate, urging young people to explore economic opportunities outside the country’s borders by utilizing digital technologies.
The RCCG stated that one of Nigeria’s difficulties was that many students and other youths did not go beyond their immediate environment for work, claiming that this was to the harm of the economy, which was crucial to the country’s success.
The church made the comment at The Everlasting Arm Parish’s annual Teens Career Conference in Garki, Abuja.
The RCCG warned against a cultural value system that welcomed inactivity and faultfinding during a ceremony attended by several dignitaries, including Segun Adeniyi, Chairman, Editorial Board of ThisDay Newspapers and former Presidential spokesperson.
The goal of the exercise, according to Adeniyi, who organises the annual RCCG TEENS Career Conference, TEAP Zone in Abuja, was to inculcate some of the correct skills and mindset among the younger generation so that they could make the right judgments.
He expressed optimism that the conference would inspire young, enterprising, and successful business leaders to help drive the country’s economic and political progress.
