People Are Working Behind The Scene Over Igboho Issue – Sanwo-Olu

People are “working behind the scenes” in the arrest and trial of Yoruba Nation activist Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho, according to Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

The governor stated this while speaking to the press at Polling Unit 019 Ward 08, Ikoyi II, where he voted in Saturday’s Local Government/Council Areas election.

PUNCH Online was there at the event, and our journalist on the ground questioned the governor about the South West governors’ alleged silence on Igboho’s detention.

The governor responded by saying that “people” are working behind the scenes and that the subject does not need to be discussed publicly.

“These are very difficult times for all of us. I can assure you that people are working behind the scenes.

“At occasions like this, it’s not by how many Press people you call.

“I’m aware that a lot of people have responses that they are doing quietly and privately and it doesn’t have to be a public conversation.”
