Panic As Angry Policeman Shoots His Father Seven Times Killing Him On The Spot

In Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State, Sergeant Sunday Wadzani of the Nigeria Police Force has reportedly killed his father.

The tragic event occurred on Sunday in the area around the State Police Command headquarters in Modugannari.

Wadzani, who is assigned to the Borno State House of Assembly complex, shot his father, retired Assistant Superintendent of Police Wadzani Ntasiri, seven times following a minor dispute. The shooting took place around 4:20 p.m. on July 21, 2024.

A security source confirmed that Wadzani has been apprehended and is currently in custody at the GRA Police Station. The motive behind the shooting has not yet been disclosed.

As of now, the Police Public Relations Officer in Borno State, ASP Kenneth Daso, has not provided any official statement regarding the incident.
