Oyetola Congratulates Senate President Lawan On 63rd Birthday

Osun Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola has congratulated President of the 9th Senate, Ahmad Lawan on the occasion of his 63rd birthday anniversary.

Oyetola in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Ismail Omipidan, said he was pleased to join family members, friends, colleagues and the All Progressives Congress (APC) to celebrate the Yobe-born politician.

The Governor described the Senate President as a patriotic Nigerian, outstanding political leader and experienced lawmaker who had made significant contributions to the growth of the legislature as well as the overall development of the country.

He also commended Lawan for providing effective and visionary leadership for the 9th National Assembly, saying this has been responsible for the cordial and mutual relationship between the legislature and the executive arm of government.

According to him, posterity will be kind to the Senate President for always allowing interest of the nation to guide his actions and official responsibilities as leader of the nation’s legislative arm.

The Governor prayed Allah to grant Lawan sound health, strength and more wisdom as he continues to lead the 9th Senate and serve the nation.
