Osun Guber: Tight Security As Tribunal Begins Sitting

As the governorship election tribunal begins its hearing on Monday morning, there are numerous security personnel present at the Osun State High Court.

According to NEWS DIRECT, Governor Gboyega Oyetola is contesting the Independence National Electoral Commission’s results of the governor election held on July 16th (INEC).

Oyetola has, however, asked for the Tribunal’s meeting to be moved from Lagos to Abuja for security reasons.

However, the Appeal Court’s President on Friday denied the motion, stating that the State’s security agencies had promised to work with the Court to improve the security of the Tribunal and its proceedings.
