JUST IN: What Emir Of Kano Publicly Told Tinubu’s Wife To Tell Her Husband

The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, has called on Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, to deliver the message of the suffering populace regarding hunger and starvation in the country to the President, emphasizing the severity of the hardship.

During a courtesy visit by the first lady to his palace on Monday, the Emir conveyed this message.

Mrs. Tinubu visited Kano to attend the inauguration of a Faculty of Law building at Maryam Abacha American University named after her.

The emir stated, “Although we have several means of communicating our needs and requests to the government, your channel is the most reliable way to inform the President about the actual situation in the country.”

“The hunger and starvation, though not new, have worsened and require immediate attention,” he added.

Furthermore, Aminu Ado Bayero addressed the issue of insecurity, stating, “The issues of insecurity are another serious challenge we face. While I understand your government inherited this, urgent action is needed to address the threats.”

“We have been receiving numerous messages from our people, including concerns about the rumored relocation of CBN and FAAN to Lagos. The government should provide clarity on this matter and communicate with Nigerians effectively,” he emphasized.

Commending the first lady for her concern for the welfare of children, Bayero urged her to implement her Renewed Hope Initiative Pet Programme, stating that it could alleviate the plight of the underprivileged.

Expressing concern about girl child education, the emir urged Mrs. Tinubu to address the issue effectively and ensure its resolution without hindrance.
