JUST IN: Tinubu Vows To Crush Terrorists After Monarch They Kidnapped Died In Their Den

President Bola Tinubu has expressed deep condemnation over the tragic death of Alhaji Isa Bawa, the District Head of Gatawa in Sabon Birni Local Government Area of Sokoto State.

The President also vowed to crush the terrorists.

The monarch was abducted weeks ago along the Sokoto – Sabon Birni Road while returning from an event. In a 59-second viral video, he was seen tied up by his captors, pleading with the state government and well-wishers for help.

In a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu described the attack on the traditional ruler as “deeply disturbing and heinous,” vowing that it would not go unanswered.

The President extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, the Gobir Emirate, and the Sokoto State government. He also prayed for the repose of the monarch’s soul and for comfort to his grieving family during this difficult time.

Tinubu reassured Nigerians that his administration is taking decisive steps to eliminate security threats across the nation, asserting that such acts of terror will be effectively countered.
