JUST IN: Tinubu Makes Fresh Appointment
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Mr. Michael Hadi Ango as the acting Chairman of the Federal Capital Territory Internal Revenue Service (FCT-IRS).
Ango, who is from Kebbi State, will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives aimed at boosting revenue generation and ensuring fiscal sustainability in his new role.
With a background in revenue administration, financial management, and organizational leadership, Ango is expected to leverage his extensive experience to strengthen the FCT-IRS. He holds an LLM degree from Columbia University School of Law in New York and a Bachelor of Law degree from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
Additionally, he attended the Nigeria Law School in 2003 and completed the Comparative Tax Policy and Administration Programme at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government in 2013.
