JUST IN: Japa: Drama As FG Sends Warning To Nigerians Travelling To UK Over Potential Danger

The Nigerian government issued a travel alert on Monday for its citizens planning to visit the UK.

The statement, signed by the spokesperson for the Minister of Interior, Amb. Eche Abu-Obe, highlighted an increased risk of violence and disorder due to recent riots in the UK.

Nigerians traveling to the UK are advised to be extra vigilant and take precautionary measures. These measures include avoiding political processions, protests, rallies, marches, crowded areas, and large gatherings.

This warning came after UK and other countries including Canada and the US issued alerts to their citizens in Nigeria warning them of potential violence and the need to be careful and follow safety rules. Those countries have always sent such advisories (alerts) to their citizens residing or planning to travel to Nigeria.
