Jeff Bezos Resigns As Amazon CEO
Jeff Bezos, an American business magnate and the founder and CEO of Amazon, one of the world’s largest technical companies, will leave the company on Monday, exactly 27 years after it was formed.
However, as the organization’s executive chair, Bezos will continue to play an important role. He will not be involved in day-to-day operations and will devote more attention to other ventures, including his aerospace firm Blue Origin.
Bezos created a set of unconventional leadership ideas during his time as CEO, which some claim are the foundation of his success.
Andy Jassy, the current CEO of Amazon Web Services, will take over as the new CEO.
The phenomenally successful cloud computing service Amazon Web Services had little to do with Amazon’s core business: e-commerce.
But Bezos backed the notion, giving Andy Jassy, a trusted employee, the flexibility and resources to start a company within a company.
Exposed!! Popular Abuja doctor revealed how men can naturally and permanently cure poor erection, quick ejaculation, small and shameful manhood without side effects. Even if you are hypertensive or diabetic . Stop the use of hard drugs for sex!! It kills!
Bezos sees Jassy as an entrepreneur, not just a manager, which is one of the reasons he will succeed Bezos.
Employees at Amazon attest to Bezos’ customer focus. Profit was a long-term goal for Jeff Bezos. A company’s prosperity hinged on its ability to keep customers satisfied at all costs.
Nadia Shouraboura, one of Amazon’s senior managers, told the BBC that when she initially started working for the company in 2004, she expected to be dismissed right away.
“During our Christmas high, I committed the biggest mistake of my life,” she admitted.
Shouraboura claimed she had placed important products on incorrectly stacked warehouse shelves. Getting the appropriate products off the shelves would cost time and money.
“I devised a creative scheme to ensure that we lose as little money as possible while also solving the problem.” When I told Jeff about it, however, he looked at me and said, “You’re thinking about this all wrong.”
“You’re pondering how to make the most of your money.” Come back to me in a few weeks and tell me how much it will cost to fix the problem for the clients.”
Bezos, on the other hand, has a slew of detractors. Last month, ProPublica published an article claiming to have seen Bezos’ tax records, stating that he owed no taxes in 2007 and 2011. It was a shocking allegation about the richest man on the planet.
Other unfavorable tales about Amazon, like its ruthlessness and charges of monopolistic behavior, have tarnished Bezos’ reputation.
Many of his coworkers, on the other hand, have praised him as a business visionary, a man with a singular purpose who has built a renowned work philosophy and a corporation worth nearly $1.8 trillion.
Always captivated by space travel, he plans to journey into space later this month with his business Blue Origin’s first crewed voyage.
