A former Governor of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu, was filled with emotion on Saturday when he spoke at the valedictory session of the Senate.
He sought to establish his love for the country and the progress of all but wondered why many saw what he said as hypocrisy.
According to him, he contributes substantially to the economic development of the country, to the point that he has for long been a founder of factories.
“I have three factories in Lagos, I have three factories in Aba, yet some are still asking what the source of my wealth is whereas there are people living big outside there without any visible source of wealth.”
Kalu is vying for the presidency of the Senate but he is not the candidate of President Bola Tinubu.
