Five Killed, Two Injured In Kano Road Crash
According to the Federal Traffic Safety Corps, at least five individuals were killed and two more were injured in a road accident in Kano State’s Mijibir Local Government Area.
Zubairu Mato, the FRSC Area Commander, verified the event to reporters. He claimed the collision occurred at Kwanar Dumawa on Thursday night between a Volkswagen Golf and a tricycle.
He said the disaster happened because the passengers were speeding on their route to their villages.
His men hurried to the area after receiving the complaint, he added, and carried the casualties to Danbatta and Munjibir hospitals, where five were declared dead by medical doctors.
Four men and one woman were killed, with two more injured, according to Mato.
Others who died were handed over to their families, he said, while those who were injured are responding to treatment.
