According to an X user, Ruth Nifemi, who shared a video, the fire destroyed some documents and property at the Hall 2 hostel of the university.
She wrote, “Hall 2 UNIBEN is on fire and fire service came without water.
“Entire room with documents burnt down”.
The cause of the fire has not yet been ascertained.
