EXPOSED: Tinubu’s govt forcing Edo market women to vote for APC governorship candidate ahead of guber poll

Reports from Edo state indicate that there is a grand plan to force Edo market women to vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in the upcoming elections.

The scheme, allegedly orchestrated by the Iyaloja of Edo State, who is a prominent APC chieftain, involves manipulating the market women’s leadership to secure their votes.

Sources indicate that the Iyaloja received substantial payments to ensure that market women cast their ballots in favour of the APC candidate.

The financial incentive is believed to be part of a strategy to use federal influence to sway the election in the party’s favour.

The Iyaloja’s attempt to impose a new leader on the market woman, who is a known APC supporter, has sparked outrage and accusations of political manipulation.

Already VIRAL VIDEOS on social media show the majority of the women protesting against the imposition.

Market women have expressed their discontent with the imposed leader, saying there was a lack of transparency and fairness in the selection process.

The move to install this stooge leader is seen as a desperate attempt by the APC to tighten its grip on the grassroots, leveraging the influence and economic power of market women.

The women, who play a crucial role in the local economy, are being targeted to serve as a voter base for the party’s candidate.

Reacting to the development, a political commentator in the state, Osa Amuse, said: ”The APC is becoming too desperate in Edo State.

”The party’s efforts to secure votes through coercion and manipulation rather than genuine political engagement and policy proposals are also raising concerns about the integrity of the electoral process.

”The imposition of a market leader is not only an affront to the autonomy of the market women’s association but also a blatant misuse of power to achieve political ends.

”This unrest among market women could have significant implications for the upcoming elections.

”The use of federal might to influence local elections is a troubling trend that undermines democratic principles and the right of citizens to freely choose their leaders.”
