Bent’s remarks follow Manchester United’s recent 1-0 defeat against Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, resulting in their elimination from the competition after finishing at the bottom of Group A with four points from six games. The club experienced four losses, one draw, and one win during the group stage.

Commenting on Ten Hag, Bent stated on talkSPORT: “Not up to it, should go.” He continued, “I don’t think he’s up to it. I think the club’s way too big for him.”
