Ekiti State First Lady Security Detail Arrested In Abuja For Rape
The arrest of a security agent connected to Bisi Fayemi, the Governor’s wife, has been verified by the Ekiti State Government.
The operative was apprehended and charged with rape. The claimed event occurred in Abuja on Monday, July 5, 2021.
Olawale Fapounda, the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, promised that the perpetrator would face the full force of the law.
The matter is now being investigated by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command, according to the official.
“The case is now being handled by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), FCT Command Headquarters of the Nigeria Police Force”, he said.
The administration has vowed to fully cooperate with the investigating team in order to ensure that justice is served.
