Buhari Sympathizes With National Assembly, Ekiti Govt Over Sen. Aluko’s Death
President Muhammadu Buhari expressed his condolences to the National Assembly and the Ekiti State government following Sen. Gbenga Aluko’s death.
The President expressed his sorrow for Aluko’s passing on Saturday, urging family, friends, and political allies to take comfort in God and the former lawmaker’s ancestors.
On Sunday, Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, issued a statement expressing Buhari’s condolences.
The President also expresses his condolences to members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the people of Ekiti State on the death of a political leader who dedicated his life to his state and country.
Aluko, according to Buhari, was “dutifully committed” to changing his community’s situation.
He, on the other hand, prayed for his soul’s repose and the family’s comfort.

The 58-year-old politician and businessman from Ode, Ekiti, died on Saturday in Abuja.
Senator Aluko, who died in 1999, carved a name for himself as a successful businessman who was elected to the Senate of the Federal Republic at the age of 36.
