The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ogun State has decided to suspend Chief Derin Adebiyi over anti-party activities. Adebiyi is the factional chairman of the party in the state who is supported by former governor Ibikunle Amosun.
Adebiyi and other party supporters of Amosun were found to have created a list of delegates who took part in the African Democratic Party (ADC) primary election in the State, according to multiple sources at the APC Secretariat.
Recall that Amosun, a senator for Ogun Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, and Dapo Abiodun, his former associate and ally and the current governor of the state, were at odds.
