BREAKING: JAMB Releases 2024 Supplementary UTME Results, Reveals Easy Steps To Check Them
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of candidates who took the supplementary Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
This supplementary exam was held on Friday, June 21st, and Saturday, June 22nd, 2024.
JAMB’s spokesman, Fabian Benjamin, provided instructions for candidates on how to check their results.
“To check their supplementary UTME results, candidates are to send UTMERESULT to either 55019 or 66019 using the same phone number they used to generate their profile codes at the start of registration,” Benjamin stated.
Benjamin explained that the supplementary exam was conducted for 28,835 candidates who were unable to undergo biometric verification during the main 2024 UTME and thus missed their initial examination.
He further stated: “Another category of candidates included those suspected of engaging in examination malpractices during the main UTME but were given a second chance to sit for the exam.

“The exercise, which was highly successful nationwide, was accompanied by increased security measures implemented by the Board to prevent any examination infractions. Consequently, some individuals who attempted to impersonate legitimate candidates were apprehended and handed over to law enforcement agencies for further investigation and prosecution.
“The Board remains committed to ensuring that no candidate benefits from any acts of misconduct through the use of advanced technology before, during, and after its examinations.
“Candidates are, therefore, advised to avoid any form of irregularity during their examinations. They are also urged not to solicit score upgrades from fraudsters or alter their result sheets in attempts to produce fake result sheets with higher scores.”
