BREAKING: Ex-Gov Bello leaves EFCC, yet to be interrogated – Media Office

Former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello has left the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) office in Abuja after voluntarily turning himself in, without being interrogated.

Bello’s media office revealed that he visited the EFCC to honor their invitation, demonstrating his respect for the law and constituted authority.

According to Michael Ohiare, Director of Media, Bello was not interrogated by EFCC officials, who instead told him he could leave. Ohiare stated that Bello’s decision to honor the invitation was to clear his name, as he has nothing to hide and nothing to fear.

It’s worth noting that Bello is currently facing charges related to alleged money laundering and breach of trust, with the EFCC prosecuting him alongside his nephew Ali Bello, Dauda Sulaiman, and Abdulsalam Hudu. The case is ongoing, with Bello’s media office maintaining that the court should decide his fate.
