BREAKING: Court Reinstates Bwacha, Binani As APC Guber Candidates For Taraba, Adamawa
The All Progressives Congress (APC) selected Emmanuel Bwacha and Aishatu Binani as its candidates for governor of Taraba and Adamawa States, respectively, in the primary elections. On Thursday, the Court of Appeal, sitting in Yola, overturned the decisions of the High Court that had earlier declared the primary elections invalid.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) shall receive their names as APC governorship candidates for both states, the court said on Thursday.
According to NEWS DIRECT, Justice Simon Amobeda of the Federal High Court in Jalingo, the capital of Taraba State, dismissed Bwacha in September following a petition filed by a former candidate named David Kente.
