BREAKING: Appeal Court reinstates Edeoga as Enugu LP guber candidate

On Friday, the Court of Appeal in Abuja restored Chijioke Edeoga as the legitimate Labour Party, LP, candidate for governor of Enugu State.

Recall that Edeoga’s nomination had been overturned by Justice Evelyn Maha of the Federal High Court in Abuja as a result of a lawsuit filed by Everest Nnaji, who claimed he was barred from the primary election.

The Appeal Court, however, overturned the previous ruling and endorsed Edeoga as the legitimate candidate for the party in its ruling.
