Bauchi Gov Appoints Usman, Chairman Civil Service Commission
Senator Bala Mohammed, the governor of Bauchi State, has endorsed Alhaji Abubakar Usman’s appointment as the chairman of the Bauchi State Civil Service Commission.
Usman’s appointment followed his confirmation by the Bauchi State House of Assembly pursuant to sections 192(2) and 198 of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, according to a statement signed and made available to DAILY POST by the Governor’s media aide, Mukhtar Gidado (as amended).
Gidado, who retired as Clerk of the State Assembly after serving as the Permanent Secretary Establishment Department Office of the State Head of Civil Service, revealed that Usman hails from the Bauchi Local Government Area of the state.
He further stated that the appointment is effective immediately.
