Atiku Reveals His Plan For Peter Obi If PDP Wins 2023 Presidential Election

Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) nominee for president, has pledged that if won in 2023, a government of national unity with representatives from the opposition will be formed.

This was stated by Atiku, who views himself as a unifier, in an interview that was published by the Financial Times on Monday, December 19.

If elected, Atiku said “why not” when asked if he could nominate Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party (LP).

When pushed further about what role he would play, the PDP presidential candidate responded, “Let’s win the polls before thinking of roles people can play.”

The PDP nominee earlier declared that he is unconcerned with Peter Obi’s popularity.

Atiku reportedly claimed that not all young people were supporting the Labour Party candidate for president.

During an interview with Voice of America (VOA), he stated: “Absolutely not, it doesn’t worry me, because the demographics of the young differ from place to region, and it is not in all regions of the country that the preponderance of the young is moving towards Labour. possibly in a few places in the South or South-East.

When asked if the PDP will form an alliance with others, he responded that there would be good reasons for it.

Nigerians, in Atiku’s opinion, have realized that the APC, the country’s current government, is more corrupt than the PDP.

The PDP presidential candidate emphasized to Nigerians the richness their country had enjoyed under his party’s control, as well as the turmoil and insecurity they had to endure under the APC. NAN report.
