“As Governor, I will lie down before Tinubu to tell Umahi ‘go and deal with my son’s state’” -According to Shaibu

During an interview with TVC, Shaibu said if he were to assume the role of governor, he would be willing to approach President Tinubu directly and emphasize the urgent need for action, even going to the extent of prostrating himself before the President in a plea for immediate action. He also said he would maintain regular engagement with the Minister of Works, Dave Umahi to ensure swift and effective actions were taken to tackle the issue

In Shaibu’s words: “As Governor, I will lie down before Tinubu to tell Minister of Works, Umahi “go and deal with my son’s state and make sure the roads and whatever he needs, give it to him”.
