APC Members Humiliates, Boo Adeoti In Iwo

The Former Secretary to the State Government and All Progressive Congress (APC) governorship aspirant in the February 19 Primary Election, Alhaji Manshood Adeoti was humiliated on Thursday by the members of APC in Iwo local government.

Adeoti was boo publicly and prevented from attending the local government general meeting of party held at Iwo Town Hall by APC members who are not comfortable with the conduct of the former SSG particularly his association with the splinter group The Osun Progressive.

The former SSG had earlier planned a road show in major streets in Iwo and also prepared to storm the general meeting of APC at the Town Hall after his arrival from the National Headquarter of the party in Abuja to participate in the screening exercise ahead the party primary. He had also planned to visit the place for royal blessing.

However, the road show that started from Ori Eru in Iwo was summarily abrupted as a result of public humilation by party members in Iwo who were holding their general meeting.

According to an eyewitness, Adeoti had mobilised people within and outside Iwo to accompany him during the road show and on his way to the palace he met the large crowd of APC members with branded cap of Governor Gboyega Oyetola singing and dancing few meters to the palace.

He was boo and mocked which forced him to enter a harsh colour Toyota Highlander where he initially raised his head and waving hands and for about 10 minutes, his convoyed could not move while the noice of 4+4 and Oyetola for second term became louder.

Adeoti was later forced to tun back and end the road show abruptly and return home in Iwo while the APC general meeting in Iwo Town Hall continues.
