2023: Nigerian Society Of Engineers Postpones Invitation To Sowore, Tinubu, Atiku, Obi, Other Presidential Candidates On Infrastructural Plans
Ahead of the general elections in 2023, the Nigerian Society of Engineers has postponed the planned discussion with presidential contenders about Nigeria’s infrastructure development.
Omoyele Sowore, the presidential candidate for the African Action Congress (AAC), and 17 other people were invited to the event, which was originally planned to take place at the International Conference Centre (ICC), Abuja, on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, according to SaharaReporters.
In a letter dated November 12, 2022 and addressed to AAC presidential candidate Sowore and bearing the reference number NSE/HQ/PRES/076/Vol.8, NSE apologized for the event’s postponement.
It however added that the postponement of the engagement, with a new date now to be later communicated to participants, was due to the overwhelming response received particularly from political parties, stakeholders and the need to do the event in a less crowded forum.
The letter, which SaharaReporters sighted on Monday, was titled: “Re: Invitation To The Nigerian Society Of Engineers Engagement With 2023 Election Presidential Candidates On Their Roadmap/agenda For Infrastructure Development In Nigeria,” and was signed by NSE President, Tasiu Sa’ad Gidari-Wudil.
The letter reads: “We bring you warm compliments once again on behalf of the Council of the Nigerian Society of engineers (NSE).
Exposed!! Popular Abuja doctor revealed how men can naturally and permanently cure poor erection, quick ejaculation, small and shameful manhood without side effects. Even if you are hypertensive or diabetic . Stop the use of hard drugs for sex!! It kills!
“We refer to our previous letter dated November 9th, 2022 and follow on phone calls and regret to inform you that the proposed Engagement by the Nigerian Society of Engineers with 2023 Election Presidential Candidates on their Roadmap/Agenda for Infrastructure Development earlier scheduled for Wednesday 16th November, 2022 during the Society’s National Conference has postponed to a later date.
“The NSE apologises for any inconveniences this may have caused you. A future date for the event shall be communicated to you in due course. The postponement is due to the overwhelming response received particularly from political parties, stakeholders and the need to do the event in a less crowded forum.
“The event is also being rescheduled a future date because of the importance the Nigerian Society of Engineers ascribes to Infrastructure Development and also that the program is not perceived as a debate by any stretch but an interaction by Presidential Candidates with Engineering professionals having a multi-disciplinary background.
“While we look forward to a favourable response at a rescheduled date, please accept the assurances of our highest esteem.”
