JUST IN: Apprehension As Popular Video Director, TG Omori’s Kidney Transplant Fails After His Bother’s Donation To Save His Life
Award-winning cinematographer and music producer ThankGod Omori, known as TG Omori, has disclosed that he recently underwent a failed kidney transplant after receiving a donation from his brother to address a severe kidney condition.
Omori shared the news on Wednesday, expressing his ongoing struggles and requesting prayers from Nigerians. He wrote, “One year after my kidney crashed, I just had a failed transplant at St. Nicholas Hospital Lagos. Pray for me.”
He also mentioned that he has undergone three surgeries and reflected on his fight for survival, stating, “I was not just destined to die today.”
Previously, Omori had revealed his brother’s generous act of donating one of his kidneys to save him, saying, “Yesterday, my only brother gave me one of his kidneys so I could live again. Keep my spirit alive. I don’t wanna die.”
The music producer, who has been out of the public eye recently, posted a photo of himself in tears on a hospital bed while receiving oxygen.
Before the latest surgery, Omori had made cryptic social media posts about his health. Last month, he tweeted, “If I cross your mind, sometimes say a prayer for me. Poor marijuana, they blame you for all my rasclaat. You wanna eat, I wanna live.”
