He is older than Nyesom Wike, he was Senate President when Nyesom Wike was a LG chairman–Mark Jacob

In a candid interview on Arise TV, a Former National Legal Adviser of the Peoples Democratic Party, Mark Jacob emphasized the importance of showing respect to individuals in positions of authority, using Senator Adolphus Wabara, the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees, as an example.

Jacob highlighted Wabara’s seniority, noting that he is older than both Jacob and Governor Nyesom Wike.

He argued that Wabara’s experience and long-standing service to the party make him deserving of respect, citing his tenure as Senate President when Wike was still serving at the local government level.

Jacob’s statement emphasizes the value of acknowledging the contributions and accomplishments of senior political figures, suggesting that their wisdom and experience should not be disregarded or dismissed.

According to Mark Jacob, “I respect everybody who has any position of authority, and they should be respected. If you look at Wabara in the eye, he is older than us. He is older than Wike. I can’t imagine you will look somebody like that in the eye and say that he doesn’t deserve anything. He was Senate President when Wike was still a Local Government Chairman. So, whether you like it or not, Wabara has paid his dues in this political party.”
