The governorship candidate of the Labour Party in the Edo State governorship election, Olumide Akpata, has lost his polling unit to the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
NEWS DIRECT had earlier reported that results started coming in from the polling units in the Edo State governorship election as the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are locked in a tight contest.
Our reporters at the polling units in Oredo Ward saw that the APC and the PDP are closely following each other while the Labour Party appears to be taking a distant third.
