Another Nollywood Actor Is Dead

A veteran Nigerian film actor, Emmanuel France, has been confirmed dead.

His death was announced by his colleague, Femi Ogedengbe via his Instagram page on Monday.

France, believed to be in his 80s, was celebrated for his roles in films such as Cross My Sin, She Is My Sister and The Director.

“Rest in peace to one of Nollywood’s legends, Uncle Emmanuel France,” Ogedengbe wrote.

“One of the actors I took to Tanzania in 2006. We shot three movies together: Cross My Sin, She Is My Sister and The Director. R.I.P,” Ogedengbe wrote.

As of the time of this report, the cause of France’s death remains unconfirmed.

His passing has left fans and colleagues in shock and grief, coming just days after the death of another Nollywood actor, Big Larry.

News Direct had also reported the death of another film actor simply known as Big Larry on Friday.

This had been announced in an Instagram post made by a movie producer, Stanley Nwoke

“Breaking News: Nollywood actor big Lary just passed away. Je nke Oma big,” he wrote.

“What caused his demise is yet to be ascertain

“May your soul rest in peace Big Lary. Nollywood Asaba Mourns. Shalom!!!”
